This picture was taken in 2006, I thought I looked big, but still did not do anything to make a change and gained more weight.

 

 

 

 

 

THEN (Dec 06)>>>

This picture made me realise, how much weight I had gained. I did not get myself into pictures much, if I could help it. Once out of the house, I would avoided mirrors as it would ruin my night out if I saw myself, I knew I was over weight, but really didn't realise how unfit I had become, the scary thing is if I hadn't seen the picture I would have carried on the way I was and gained more weight.

 

 

Each time I had to buy bigger clothes, I would think, "oh they don't make them like they use to, I'd bet I'm only a 16" if only someone could have said "well no actually size 20 IS size 20" (as I am wearing in this picture)

This picture was taken in Spain in July 2007, I had started to maintain my weight, but again it was looking at a picture that made me realise I needed to do more, so it was August 2007 that I started to take control of myself.

 

 

 

 

 

 

THEN (Feb 08)>>>

This was taken after I had lost 2 stone, I'd had my hair done, I was feeling good and was very pleased with myself but I still felt very self conscious.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

<<< Nearly NOW (April 08)

This picture was taken in April 08. I had lost 3 stone and was feeling very happy with my self, and I had gotten into the elusive size 16, I had wanted for so long to be able to wear a t-shirt with jeans and not have to keep pulling at it, this was also the first picture in a long time that my smile was real.
